The architect will work on precision asset positioning solutions for indoors and outdoors, based on novel approaches of combining IMU, GPS, and RFID technologies. This position reports to the VP of Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Refine and improve system specs of a multi-tiered distributed application that is used in asset location management interfacing with other asset management systems.
- Design algorithms that are eventually incorporated in real time C/C++ software
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Participate in code and design reviews.
Key Qualifications
- A BS degree in EE or CS or equivalent and demonstrable competence in complex system analysis and modeling for practical implementation in real world automated systems.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with RFID, GPS, Inertial Sensor Technologies.
Compensation
- Commensurate with experience.
