Aleks founded PINC in 2004 to solve asset location tracking problems in Distribution Centers. The goal was to deliver a solution that did not rely on expensive hardware or significant manual intervention.

Through the end of '03, Aleks served as VP of Product and Services Marketing at Telecommunication Systems (TSYS), which he joined as TSYS acquired OTelNet.

Aleks was co-founder of OTelNet, a venture funded start-up, where he served from inception to acquisition ('98-'02) as VP of Engineering and Corporate Development and as a Board Member. With Verizon, Vodafone, and T-Mobile as established customers, OTelNet was acquired by Telecommunication Systems Inc (TSYS).

Aleks holds a BS from MIT and a MS and PhD from UC Berkeley, all in EECS. His industry experience includes his positions at Sapient, Oracle, and Teknekron Communication Systems.
