Prior to joining PINC, Nuri Dağdeviren was the Vice President and General Manager of Samsung Business Segment for Agere Systems, based in Seoul, Korea. In this role, he was responsible for managing all aspects of Agere's business with Samsung Mobile. A 19-year veteran of Agere Systems including its parent companies AT&T and Lucent Technologies, Dr. Dağdeviren has held positions in R&D and in various management roles. Having spent most of his career on semiconductor R&D for communications applications, he was elected a Bell Labs Fellow in 1998 in recognition of his contributions to the invention and development of 56k modem technology in the early 90s.
Dr. Dağdeviren holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has served on the faculty of California Institute of Technology prior to joining Bell Labs in 1987. He holds over 20 patents. |
